Austin Buchholz

Austin was born and raised in Holgate, Ohio. He graduated from Bluffton University in 2018 with a degree in Criminal Justice and Pre-Law. Austin was also a member of the Men’s Basketball Team during his time at Bluffton University. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctorate Degree from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law in 2021. In addition to being licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio since 2021, Austin obtained his license to practice law in the State of Indiana in 2023.

Austin worked in private practice until he joined Hopkins, Schroeder & Von Sossan in January of 2023. Austin handles criminal and traffic defense, divorce, custody, and general civil litigation. Austin also works for the Van Wert County Public Defender’s Office, the Paulding County Public Defender’s Office and as the Solicitor for the Village of Ottoville. He has also spent several semesters as an Adjunct Professor at Bluffton University.

Austin lives in Ottoville, Ohio with his wife and daughter. They enjoy traveling to different college and professional sporting venues to cheer on the Minnesota Vikings and LSU Tigers.
